There has recently been a huge increase in people providing physical therapy for pets, and the qualifications of the people providing this service vary widely. It's a good idea to get someone who is trained in Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy and Veterinary Technology with experience working with dogs.
Besides being dually licensed in Physical Therapy and Veterinary Technology, my qualifications include 10 years of experience in rehabilitating dogs while working closely with a Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon. I am also a candidate for certification from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute.
